If you’re here for live music, Minneapolis gives you a clear ladder of rooms to choose from. First Avenue is one of the city’s most recognizable clubs, drawing touring bands and artists who want an intimate but high-energy room, while its sibling space 7th Street Entry is where you’ll often find rising acts and more underground lineups.

Fine Line Music Cafe adds another club-level option for fans who like to stay close to the stage. The Cedar Cultural Center adds a different flavor, programming eclectic and often globally focused music that doesn’t always appear in the larger arenas or rock clubs. Between these rooms, most concert-goers can match their night out to the size and style of show they want.
